There are a million reasons to avoid your daily workout. Maybe you didn't get enough sleep last night, or you're hungover from the weekend's festivities. You had a long day at the office, and all you want to do is put your feet up and watch some TV. It's raining, so you can't be expected to leave the house! Excuses, excuses - knock it off! You're only hurting yourself when you skip out on your exercise regimen.

If you can't motivate yourself to go to the gym after you get home from work, try going beforehand. Set your alarm for an hour earlier than you normally wake up and go for a run before your morning shower. You'll feel energized for the day, and you'll have plenty of time to relax once you finally finish up at the office.

Another good way to remind yourself to go to the gym is to find a workout buddy. Ask a friend if she'd like to join you every weeknight at a certain time, or see if your significant other might be interested in serving as your personal trainer (added bonus: this will flatter his ego).
