Feeling Lost in Your Career

Not sure where you want your job to go?
Not sure where you want your job to go?
When you graduated from college, you thought you had it all figured out. You'd start out with a small company, work your way to the top and be making $100,000 a year at a major corporation by the time you were 35 - perfect, right? Of course, life sometimes has other plans. If you feel like you're languishing in your $30k-a-year position with no idea where to go from here, you might be feeling a little down.

It's important to remember that the training you received in college is applicable in a wide variety of fields, which means your options are still wide open. Even if you majored in finance or medieval history, you can become an art curator if that's what you're really passionate about. The time you spent in school gave you analytic and research skills that can help you land a job anywhere.

If you want to switch careers entirely, you might want to consider going back to school for a second degree. There are many post-baccalaureate programs for people in just this situation, so look around and see if there are any that are right for you. For some professions, like nursing and culinary arts, you can attend two-year schools for an associate's degree that will get your foot in the door.

For more advice, contact a psychic. Our talented psychics can use their powers to see where your career can go from here, and what steps you need to take to get there.
