Should you Facebook Friend your Coworkers?

Should you be Facebook friends with your coworkers?
Should you be Facebook friends with your coworkers?
You're just going about your day, enjoying your time on Facebook, when a notification suddenly pops up - one of your coworkers wants to be friends! Although you like this particular colleague, you're concerned that you might start getting requests from your superiors ... who might be less than pleased to scroll through that one album you made while you were on spring break in Mexico.

If you decide to ignore your coworker's friend request, it's important to ignore all future friend requests from people you work with. You don't want anyone to feel left out, or like you're playing favorites - you could wind up alienating other people in the workplace. Instead of Facebook, why not meet up with people on LinkedIn? No drunk college pictures will follow you there!

If you accept the request, you can still alter your privacy settings to make sure that the people you work with don't see anything you don't want them to see. You can set your pictures to be visible only to you, and even remove your Facebook wall entirely if your one rowdy friend from college makes raunchy posts occasionally.

For more advice, contact a psychic. Our gifted psychics can peer into the future to see if anything bad could come of making social media connections with the people in your office.
