Jessica Biel spotted without engagement ring from Justin Timberlake

It isn't uncommon for people to take their wedding bands and engagement rings off from time to time - whether it's while washing the dishes or cooking dinner. But what good excuse could there possibly be for not wearing them to a red carpet event?

This is what the media has been asking since actress Jessica Biel showed up at the Golden Globes on January 15 without her wedding ring from fiancé, Justin Timberlake. Biel walked the red carpet in several pieces of jewelry, including items from Tiffany & Co. However, her engagement ring was nowhere to be seen, according to People magazine.

This isn't the first time that Biel has been spotted without the ring, either. The actress recently showed up at a Hollywood party without the engagement bauble - is something up between the couple?
