Is it wrong to 'settle?'

Those of us who grew up on Disney films may be sitting around waiting for our Prince Charming to waltz in and sweep us off our feet any day now. But does Mr. Right really need to come with perfect teeth, six-pack abs, a Ph.D. and impeccable manners? Come on, nobody's perfect. Is it so wrong to "settle" for somebody a little less?

Now, before we continue, it's important to differentiate between admitting that no one is flawless and truly settling for someone who's beneath you. You should never be with a guy you don't really care for just because you don't think you can find anyone better. If you're not in love, don't stick around. And if a guy doesn't treat you right, you should never put up with him for longer than you have to - ever.

But should you write off that smart, funny guy at work just because he's on the short side? Sure, the guy at the coffee shop might be carrying a few extra pounds, but he's clever, thoughtful and genuine. We're here to tell you, it's not "settling" to overlook a few flaws to be with a guy who's truly incredible.
