Understanding Your Chakras
Chakra Seven is the crown chakra that relates to consciousness as pure awareness. When developed, this chakra brings us knowledge, wisdom, understanding, spiritual connection, and bliss. The associated element is space.
Chakra Six is known as the brow chakra or third eye center. It is relates to the act of seeing, both physically and intuitively. The associated element is time.
Chakra Five is located in the throat and relates to communication and self expression. Here we experience the world symbolically through vibration, such as the vibration of sound through language. The associated element is life.
Chakra Four is called the heart chakra and allows us to love deeply, feel compassion, and have a deep sense of peace and centeredness. The associated element is air
Chakra Three is known as the power chakra and is located in the solar plexus - bringing us energy, effectiveness, spontaneity, and non-dominating power. The associated element is fire.
Chakra Two is located in the center abdomen and relates to the body’s communication to the Being inside – about what the body wants and needs, and finds pleasurable. The associated element is water.
Chakra One – is located at the base of the spine and is associated with the element earth - relating to our survival instincts and to our sense of grounding and connection with the physical body. Ideally this chakra brings us security, trust, and prosperity.
