Mercury Retrograde

Because the Earth is "The Third Rock From The Sun," there are two planets closer to the Sun: Mercury and Venus. Mercury appears to go retrograde three times a year.

Mercury presides over the signs Virgo and Gemini and makes its retrograde station at ten degrees in the sign of Sagittarius. Virgo and Gemini natives will feel the effects strongly as well as anyone who has Sagittarius within three degrees either way of Mercury's station at ten degrees.
